Hello Loopy Friends!

June's in full swing over here. My cherries are ripening, we've experienced some very hot days, flowers are blooming in our garden, and the kids have adjusted to 'summer hours' extremely quickly. We are all still over scheduled for summer as I'd like it best, but it's early days, right?

These sweet puppies are growing so fast!  We've had them a bit over a week, and they are about 5 weeks old. So fun. 🤩

What's New at The Loopy Ewe?

Lemonwood - Acrylic Mini Minders

Remember last week when I mentioned new Mini Minders from  LemonWood available soon (to go with their The Whirl). Now in, we have Mini Minders - Acrylic version. These are mix and match and so fun! We've entered them such that, to get a full mini minder, you must purchase one each of the spindle and base separately - the leather strap comes with the set when you purchase one base and one spindle.

Twice Sheared Sheep

By request, we brought in Dawn's Handy Reference Guide to all Things Yarny and The Stitch Scout Multi Tool. If you're looking for a great reference on yarn weights, quantities and more, this one is fantastic. AND this tool has it all!

Loopy Garden Camp

I know we all just cast on our June projects, but to ensure ample time for planning, ordering, shipping and swatching, we are announcing July's Camp week. We'll be taking a stroll in the Butterfly Garden. Yay!  It might be a bit of a cheat, as most of those ideas you had for the June Flower Gardens will transfer right over, BUT, it's now open to more butterfly themed projects as well!

If you don't know what I'm talking about, check out what Loopy Garden Camp is all about! We'll have fun challenges in June, July & August. Overall details on this year's Camp are on our Blog.  July specific information can be found HERE

As for camp merch? We still have Loopy Garden Camp Stickers available. There are only a few of the Necessary Pancakes Camp Loopy Project Bags with Loopy in Blue socks. We love them!

On My Needles

I cast on for June Garden Camp last week. My Boho Flower Top by Yeon Hwa Lee is coming right along. I've finished the top portion, minus joining the front to the back. I think I'm going to wait until I have the bottom part done so I can try it on and see how low I want that front to sit. I'm quite pleased with how the CaMaRose Lovetand is working on this one. Honestly, though, I did not love doing the Latvian Braid (2 of them) an the full circumference of the waist (holy twisted yarn!). I do, however, LOVE how it looks. That aside, this is a pretty fun top to knit, and so far seems to move along quite quickly. Yay!

I also have resurrected my Kleine Pause by Susanne Shahin.  This blanket will be ready for donation before December!  Thanks Mary Kay and Sabrina for the inspiration to get back on this.  I'm making my using Sirdar Jewelspun Aran Ombre Yarn.  Colorful and easy care!

Have an excellent and creative week!
